Unreal Tournament 3 is the eighth title in the Unreal Series that was developed by Epic Games and published by Midway Games. It was released in 2007 on pc, PS3 and later ported to Xbox 360 in 2008. Unreal Tournament 3 like the other Unreal Tournaments is mostly a multiplayer game in which you can either verse bots or humans in a variety of game modes like CTF and Deathmatch. Unlike other Unreal Tournaments though UT3 has a story driven singleplayer mode instead of just a ladder progression tournament mode where your team beats other teams to end up number 1. In the story campaign you also only play as one character who is part of a group or clan that remains your team in team game missions.

Ut3 is a smaller game content wise but that is because they left out a lot of races and game modes that weren’t that popular in previous Unreal Tournaments. Game modes like Assault and Domination. Teams such as The Juggernauts and Nakhti were scrapped that were from UT2004 along with the Skaarj. Instead the Krall ended up in UT3. However there are plenty of mods that add some of this content back for UT3 in UE3 graphics.

Engine

Unreal Tournament 3 was built with the third generation engine Unreal Engine 3. It builds upon and uses features of the previous engines whilst having a more powerful renderer, sound system and physics system. The lighting and shadowing was also done differently to previous Unreal Tournaments.
